This looks like HomePod and HomePod Mini will soon have an audio support without loss via Apple music. The HomePod 15 Beta 5 includes options for lossless and Dolby Atmos playback.

All beta users will not see the flip-flops, according to 9to5Mac. If you are running the last beta of iOS 15 and HomePod, you can check if they are active by accessing the Home App option menu, pressing your profile, then on Media and Apple Music.

Earlier this year, Apple said it would bring the diffusion of Music Apple streaming on HomePod and HomePod Mini thanks to a software update, but it did not provide a calendar. Now it seems that stakeholders can soon broadcast music without loss (unless the option is already life for you in the beta version).

Apple should deploy its last operating systems largely over the next two months. When this will do, you can associate a second mini from the home to Apple TV for stereo audio.
