MediaTek Dimensity 920 and 810 bring 5G to mid-range phones

Network operators and smartphone manufacturers have pushed 5G to everyone in recent years now, but these efforts will be in vain so few people have devices that can actually connect. Built on a 6nm process, dimension 920 focuses on gaming performance and multimedia. In addition to MediaDek 3.0 Hyperentgine 3.0 technology, the chip also supports adaptive screens that allow it to choose the ideal refresh rate for work. The chip uses a Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 octa-core configuration to balance performance and efficiency.

The dimension 810 curiously slots a little lower than the existing dimensioning 820, with Cortex-A76 and Cortex-A55 coordin at lower speeds. Despite this, the chipset always supports rapid refresh rates up to 120hz and looks sharply on IA-powered imaging characteristics. The processor is also constructed using a 6nm process.

According to MediaTek, telephones with dimension 920 and dimension 810 will arrive in the third quarter of the year. The scope of society has increased enough to make a challenge for Qualcomm to the extent that quarterly figures are going.
