Samsung silently launched a new budget phone in India. A new variant of the Samsung Galaxy A12 has been unveiled with an Exynos chipset.
The Samsung Galaxy A12 was launched in February 2021 with MediaTek Helio P35 and it was priced at 12,999 rupees and 13,999 rupees at the launch of 4GB and 6GB variants respectively. The new A12 galaxy propelled by Exynos 850 Chipset will cost more than the MediaTek Motor Galaxy variant.

The Samsung Galaxy A12 Exynos variant will cost RS 13,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant and the 6 GB + 128GB variant will cost 16,499 rupees. The phone is available in blue, black and white color options. It is currently available on Samsung.com with respect to online sales.

In addition to modifying the processor, the rest of the specifications remain the same. The device is now powered by an OCTA-Core Exynos 850 chipset which is built on a manufacturing process of 8 nm. It has a clock speed up to 2.3 GHz. The device is available in two configurations δΈ 4GB + 64 GB and 6GB + 128 GB. The website does not mention the Android version, but the anterior variant of the device ran on Android 10.
In addition, the device comes with a quad-camera configuration on the back LED by a 48MP primary camera (isocell GM2), an ultra-wide 5MP lens, a 2MP macro shooter and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front is an 8MP selfie camera. You get an HD + 6.5-inch panel with a 20: 9 format report and an Infinity V design. It turns off 5,000 mAh and also supports the 15W adaptive fast load.
Other features include a climbed fingerprint sensor, double-tape, Bluetooth 5 and Samsung Knox. The device weighs 205 and measures 8.8 mm.
In addition to Galaxy A12, other Samsung phones such as Galaxy M12, Galaxy F12 and Galaxy A21 are also powered by the Exynos 850 processor.
