There is a lot of money to do in mobile games, but most of the media attention tends to focus on titles of Esports like Mobilas and Royal Battle. There are of course dozens if not hundreds of other mobile games on the market that can be just as addictive even while classified as casual. Razer, however, wants to turn these occasional games into something as aggressive and exciting with its instantaneous game tournaments of the cortex that transforms these occasional or “hyper-casual” games into a kind of competitive training.
Of course, these occasional games do not suddenly become competitive online titles simply because they are part of the Cortex tournament. Instead, competition occurs indirectly through rankings. The higher your score, the higher your chances of gaining razer silvesters at the end.
The instantaneous play tournaments of the Razer Cortex are also not like Tournaments Esports. This looks more like an Olympic seasonal, with 4 or 6 current tournaments at any time. Each tournament can last as short as one day a few weeks. New games and new tournaments are added and turned to keep moving players on their toes.
The first tournament of this selection is Sneki Snek Adventure that makes its debut. Based on the Razer mascot “respectful of the environment”, the game requires players to avoid poison barriers and collect planting seeds. All products generated by the game will be given to international conservation.
The Razer Cortex instant play tournaments start with 100 games in its catalog and with a maximum size of 60,000 Razer at stake. Free games are accessible from the Android Cortex app and, soon, on PC.
