All eyes were on the Galaxy Z bend 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 yesterday, but everyone might not be interested in buying such phones expensive. In fact, many might even have to even have the Galaxy S21 series, at least until the Galaxy S21 fes out. There was a time when Samsung Galaxy a phone exceeded their premium cousins in popularity and sales because of their affordable 5G promise. Samsung apparently tries to milk this cow as much as possible with the A52S galaxy that has an important advantage over its predecessor.
The Galaxy A52 was actually launched just in April and, as its name suggests, the Galaxy A52S is an incremental upgrade only. There are minor differences between the two, but that’s where it matters the most.
The Galaxy A52 launched with a Snapdragon 750g, one of Qualcomm’s high-end mid-range chips. It’s not really old, after being launched in 2020, but the Galaxy A52 was apparently harmonized with its disappointing performance. Samsung will fix that, by putting a newest and more powerful 778g snapdragon that is announced to give a 35% performance boost.
The rest of the specifications, however, remains virtually identical, upwards the cameras. There is always a large 72mps selfie shooter at the front, while the back houses the same camera network led by a 64 MP main sensor. Unfortunately, it means that there is still no telephoto camera, leaving users to do with 10x digital zoom.
According to WinFuture, the Galaxy A52S will sell about 449 EUR, almost similar to its predecessor. 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage will be standard, but other markets will see an 8GB storage option of RAM and 256 GB. Like the Galaxy A52, it will direct Android 11 of the box, no matter when it starts this year.
